PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of color irregularity correction in correcting color irregularity of an image by using color irregularity correction values associated with some pixels.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: a correction circuit 149 that performs color irregularity correction to a frame of an input image; an interpolation operation circuit 145 that performs interpolation operation on color irregularity correction values corresponding to some pixels in the frame to calculate operation values corresponding to the pixels in the frame; and a conversion circuit 147 that converts the operation values calculated by the interpolation operation circuit 145 into a combination of the color irregularity correction values to be applied to a plurality of frames. The correction circuit 149 applies the combination of the color irregularity correction values converted by the conversion circuit 147 to the plurality of frames of the input image to perform color irregularity correction of the frames.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
