The present invention relates to a communication method and a terminal. The method comprises: a first terminal determines a distance between the first terminal and a second terminal; receive second speed information sent by the second terminal, the second speed information being current speed information of the second terminal; determine a power value according to the distance, the second speed information, and first speed information of the first terminal, the first speed information being current speed information of the first terminal; and send a signal to the second terminal according to the power value. Therefore, according to the communication method in the embodiments of the present invention, a first terminal receives in real time second position information and second speed information sent by a second terminal, and determines in real time a power value for a signal to be sent according to the second position information, the second speed information, and first speed information and first position information of the first terminal, that is, dynamically adjusts the power value of the signal to be sent, thereby meeting the requirements for safe driving. |
