PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the correction operation of the deviation of the origin due to a drift is complicated in a gyro apparatus. SOLUTION: A rotation/standstill detection circuit 100 detects the standstill state of a microgyro element, and it makes a sample-and-hold circuit 68 perform a sampling operation in a standstill, A sampled signal level corresponds to an offset amount. When the standstill state is shifted to a rotation state, the rotation/standstill detection circuit 100 makes the sample-and-hold circuit 68 hold the sampled signal level so as to be output. Thereby, the offset amount immediately before the rotation state is started is output from the sample-and- hold circuit 68. In the rotation state of the microgyro element, the poalrity of the output is inverted by an inverting circuit 74 so as to be added to an original output signal. Thereby, the offset amount is removed from the original output signal.
