摘要 The present disclosure is related to a servomechanism system to orient facets in heliostats in a central tower scheme, in which inclined individual mirrors are included in such a way that they can redirect the incident solar radiation towards a solar energy receiver with an adequate focus on the receiver installed in the top of the tower. The mirror canting is achieved by placing a device that is easy to install and uninstall composed of two motorized rotary screws and a four-quadrant sensor with its programmed control to orient the facet to the place where a light source comes from, in this case, from the receiver in the tower. This operation is repeated for each facet in the heliostat, mounting and dismounting the orientation device. The invention has the advantage of reliability, flexibility and low cost; in addition of the alignment speed of the facet, and requiring only two motorized rotary screws, a four-quadrant sensor and its control with the quick installation and uninstallat ion system to generate any curve that needs to be given to the mirror forming facets, depending on the position of the light source towards which the heliostat is to be focused.
