Affixing device for oven cladding

A variable device (1) for fixing cladding elements onto a furnace body surface comprises a tilting element (4) fixable to the furnace body or its surface and a displacing element (6) to be fixed to the tilting element and coupled with the cladding element. The tilting element can be tilted about a first axis (7) perpendicular to the surface, and the displacing element is movable in plane parallel to the first axis and tiltable about a second axis (8) perpendicular to this plane. Independent claims are included for: (1) a furnace cladding element (preferably of ceramic or steatite) with the fixing device; and (2) a furnace with at least one fixing device or cladding element as above.
