A solid insulated load break switchgear and a potential transformer connector for solid insulated load break switchgear are provided to reduce an installation area by improving an installation structure thereof. A solid insulated load break switchgear includes a control box, a switch main body, a hot plate bus unit(20), a voltage transformer(30), and a connector(25). The control box controls an automatic switching operation. The switch main body includes a switching device for switching a circuit. The hot plate bus unit is electrically connected with the switch main body. The hot plate bus unit is installed at a lower part of the switch main body. The voltage transformer supplies power to the control box. The connector includes an electrical conducting part and an insulating material part having the electrical conducting part. The connector is connected to the voltage transformer in order to supply the power of the hot plate bus unit. The connector has vertical and horizontal lengths which are determined according to vertical and horizontal distance of the hot plate bus unit.
