PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an urushi (Japanese lacquer) surface processing method capable of uniformly forming a pattern on the surface of urushi using egg white and capable of also forming a crack pattern on the surface of urushi other than the crack pattern formed along a brush mark. SOLUTION: The urushi surface processing method includes a process (S100) for applying topcoating urushi to a surface to be coated, a process (S101) for drying the topcoating urushi, a process (S102) for spraying an egg white liquid, which is prepared by adding water to egg white, on the surface of topcoating urushi, a process (S103) for further spraying the egg white liquid on the surface of topcoating urushi and a process (S104) for drying the egg white liquid.
