PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional battery pack exchange method that cannot avoid a defect caused by the voltage difference between battery packs.SOLUTION: A battery pack exchange method of a battery system incorporates a novel battery pack (S1, S2), adjusts the voltage of a non-exchange battery string so that the difference between the voltage of the non-exchange battery string and the voltage of an exchange target battery string is equal to or less than a preset permissible voltage difference (S3 to S7), switches a sub-relay of a battery pack contained in the exchange target battery string to a connection state in response to an even that the difference between the voltage of the non-exchange battery string and the voltage of the exchange target battery string is equal to or less than the permissible voltage difference (S9), and switches a main relay of the battery pack contained in the exchange target battery string to a connection state in response to an even that the difference between the non-exchange battery string and the voltage of the exchange target battery string is substantially equal to the same voltage (S10, S11).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
