<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which is excellent in lighting properties such as luminance and color rendering properties by increasing the light output through improvement of wavelength conversion efficiency in the fluorescent substance and by improving the radiation efficiency of the light emitted from the light-emitting chip to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device comprises a base body 2 made of ceramics having an average grain diameter of 1 to 5 μm, a light-emitting diode 4 mounted on the base body 2 and capable of emitting a light of a blue region, and a fluorescent-substance layer 5 disposed on the light-emitting diode and radiating a yellow light by being excited by the light radiated from the light-emitting diode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
