GENUINENESS IDENTIFYING METHOD, GENUINENESS IDENTIFYING BODY AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a genuineness identifying method by which genuineness identification can be simply performed by viewing and further to provide a genuineness identifying body and its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: Natural light is made incident and then is converted into elliptically polarized light by birefringence. When the elliptically polarized light is made to pass through a polarization layer which transmits only light of a specific polarization direction and then is visually confirmed, genuineness is identified according to that whether the elliptically polarized light changes its color or not corresponding to a viewing angle.
