摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an other vehicle position detection device capable of properly detecting a position of other vehicle which exists outside of a detection range of an autonomous sensor, and properly actuating a drive support system using inter-vehicle communication.SOLUTION: A positioning part performs positioning of an own vehicle. An autonomous sensor detects relative positions of other vehicles which exist in the surrounding of the own vehicle with respect to the own vehicle. A reception part receives communication data containing positional information of other vehicle from other vehicle. An identification processing part 5a identifies other vehicle which is detected by the autonomous sensor and other vehicle from which the communication data is sent, based on the own vehicle position information, relative position information of other vehicles, and positional information received from other vehicle. A position error calculation processing part 5b calculates error between a position of other vehicle identified from the relative position information of other vehicle and a position of the received positional information, as a position error. A position correction processing part 5c corrects the position of other vehicle identified from the received positional information based on the position error calculated by the position error calculation processing part, when other vehicle identified is not detected by the autonomous sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
