PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner with which a visible image having favorable sharpness can be formed for a long time while keeping low temperature fixing property/offset resistance. SOLUTION: The toner is obtained by dissolving or dispersing a resin-coloring agent composite material containing a coloring agent and a binder resin (1) containing at least a polyester resin having a group which can react with a compound having active hydrogen, together with a release agent in an organic solvent, further dispersing the solution or the dispersion liquid in an aqueous medium to granulate toner particles, removing the organic solvent, rinsing and drying.
