PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas insulated switchgear having a plurality of disconnectors on a ring bus which satisfies equipment performance prescribed by standards by avoiding opening the disconnectors for currents exceeding a duty to open.SOLUTION: The gas insulated switchgear includes: a ring bus 14; power supply side feeders 10a, 10b; load side feeders 17a, 17b; disconnectors 15a-15d; current transformers 16a-16d for measuring currents flowing through the disconnectors 15a-15d, respectively; and interlock control sections 30a-30d disposed in correspondence with the disconnectors 15a-15d to determine whether or not current measurement values acquired from the current transformers 16a-16d are within current values that the disconnectors 15a-15 can break which are prescribed by standards, and if the current measurement values are higher than the current values that the disconnectors 15a-15d can break, interlock opening operations of the disconnectors 15a-15d and inhibit the opening operations. |
