PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact speaker unit with excellent sound quality.SOLUTION: A speaker unit 1 is configured by including: a vibration body 20 having at least one opening 20a; a vibration device 30 abutted to the vibration body 20 so as to apply a vibration; and a frame 10 for supporting the vibration body 20. Since the vibration body 20 supported by the frame 10 and vibrated by the application of the vibration from the vibration device 30 has at least one opening 20a, multiple vibration modes are generated compared with a vibration body 20 without having an opening, so as to obtain moderate frequency characteristics.
