PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting appliance for a vehicle which suppresses a variation of a center luminous intensity band, and suppresses the generation of a blue-color spectroscopic color.SOLUTION: This lighting appliance for a vehicle comprises a semiconductor-type light source, and a resin-made lens which controls a light-distribution of light from the light source. The lens has an incident face which comprises: an upper incident face to which light from the light source which is radiated to an upper part at an angle larger than a prescribed upper-radiation angle with a light source optical axis of the light source as a reference is made incident; a lower incident face to which light from the light source which is radiated to a lower part at an angle larger than a prescribed lower-radiation angle is made incident; and an intermediate incident face between the upper incident face and the lower incident face. The lower incident face has a first lower incident face at a light source optical axis side, and a second lower incident face at a lower side than the first lower incident face, and the lens radiates the light which is made incident to the second incident face to a lower part, and performs light-distribution control for radiating the light which is made incident to the upper incident face and the first lower incident face to an upper part. A radiation angle of the light which is made incident to the first lower incident face to an upper part is smaller than a radiation angle of the light which is made incident to the upper incident face to an upper part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
