PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress saturation of photodetection output.SOLUTION: A light-receiving device 10 includes well regions 21, 31, generation regions 22, 32, storage regions 23, 33 and transfer electrodes 25, 35. The well regions 21, 31 are p and n types, respectively, and formed on a p-type substrate 16. The generation regions 22, 32 are formed with n and p types, respectively, in the well regions 21, 31, and generate electrons or holes depending on the incident light. The storage regions 23, 33 are formed with n and p types, respectively, in the well regions 21, 31, and arranged between the generation regions 22, 32 while sandwiching the well regions 21, 31, so as not to come into contact with the generation regions 22, 32. The transfer electrodes 25, 35 are arranged between the generation regions 22, 32 and storage regions 23, 33 via insulating films 27, 37, above the substrate 16. In light-receiving device 10, the storage regions 23 and 33 are connected electrically.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
