PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorption panel having superior fireproof performance and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A sound absorption panel P comprises: a panel member 2 having a front wall 21, a rear wall 22 opposed to the front wall 21, and a plurality of section walls 23 partitioning off the space between the front wall 21 and the rear wall 22 into a plurality of partition regions 24 by connecting the front wall 21 and the rear wall 22 together; and a sheet member 4 provided on a surface, on the opposite side from the rear wall 22, of the front wall 21, and having a plurality of through holes 41. The front wall 21 has a plurality of communication grooves 25 linking the plurality of partition regions 24 to the plurality of through holes 41, and the panel member 2 is made of a material consisting principally of an inorganic material having no hole penetrating at least the rear wall 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
