PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for recording information capable of improving the reliability of information recording in a digital recording medium connected to the device while the digital recording medium is connected to the device and sufficiently applicable to practical use. SOLUTION: While recording generated contents in a recording means 13, the recorded contents are recorded to a recording medium 12 from the recording means 13. In this case, when an error disabling continued recording of the contents in the recording medium 12 occurs during recording of the contents to the recording medium 12 from the recording means 13, the recording of the contents to the recording medium 12 is interrupted and only the recording of the contents to the recording means 13 is continued.
