1. A display device capable of displaying an electronic book containing a content across a plurality of pages, comprising:
reduction means for displaying, in a case where (i) a part of the content is visually recognizable by magnifying and displaying the plurality of pages at a given magnification ratio and (ii) a user conducts an operation of turning over a page which is being displayed, an entire page to be displayed in accordance with the operation of turning over the page; and magnification means for magnifying, at the given magnification ratio around a given origin of coordinates, a given part of the page to be displayed after the reduction means displays the entire page to be displayed, the given origin of coordinates being coordinates of a point at which display coordinates do not change during magnification, wherein the given origin of coordinates is determined in accordance with: (a) a binding direction of an electronic book (right-opening or left-opening), and (b) a direction in which the user is to conduct operation of turning over the page.
