PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bank note handling apparatus that not only is compact but also enables users to minimize the required movement of their hands and allows smooth carriage and collective withdrawal of bank notes.SOLUTION: A bank note handling apparatus 1 is equipped with an apparatus body 1a, a bank note inlet 21 disposed right in front of the apparatus body 1a; a bank note outlet 22 arranged in the upper vicinity of the bank note inlet 21 and right in front of the apparatus body 1a; a shutter 23 that opens and closes the bank note outlet 22: and a bank note carrying path 2, which is a single bank note carrying path disposed inside the apparatus body 1a to link the bank note inlet 21 and the bank note outlet 22, carries first bank notes M1 received through the bank note inlet 21 and usable for change, circulates them within the apparatus body 1a and carries them to the bank note outlet 22. The bank note outlet 22 is so configured as to enable multiple first bank notes M1 to be collectively withdrawn by opening the shutter 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
