PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal capable of easily restricting a function as a small computer so as not to become the factor of the injustice when taking a class oran examination, and to provide a method for restricting the function of the mobile communication terminal. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal 100 has a control ID detection part 107 which extracts, when a trigger signal is received, a control ID included in the trigger signal to notify a control part 106 of the extracted control ID, wherein the control part 106 restricts execution of an application program according to the control ID notified by the control ID detection part 107.
