PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body fluid analyzer that allows for using a disposable test tool in a same manner regardless of whether the disposable test tool has been just taken out of a refrigerator or has been brought back to room temperature after being taken out of the refrigerator.SOLUTION: A body fluid analyzer of the present invention is configured to start operating when insertion detection means detects insertion of a disposable test tool. Control means provides control such that, when temperature of a sensor unit acquired by a temperature measurement unit at the time of the insertion into an insertion unit is lower than a predetermined temperature, heating means is activated first to preheat the sensor unit until the sensor unit temperature reaches the predetermined temperature, and then pressing mean is activated to calibrate the sensor unit before an analysis process is carried out and, when the temperature of the sensor unit acquired by the temperature measurement unit at the time of the insertion into the insertion unit is higher than the predetermined temperature, the preheating process by the heating means is skipped, and the pressing means is activated to calibrate the sensor unit before the analysis process is carried out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
