A pole change type synchronous electric motor is provided to reduce torque ripple and noise by preparing an exciting pole while arranging teeth in equal spacing. A stator(110) has a number of teeth(111) arranged along the inner circumference in equal spacing, and each tooth is wound with a motor coil(112). A rotor(120) is installed to rotate from the stator, and has a number of conductors(122). A magnet layer(130) is installed to have air gap with the tooth in the rotor, and has a magnet material to be re-magnetized. An exciting pole(140) faces the magnet layer adjacently to the tooth of the stator, and is wound with an excitation coil.
