The invention relates to a circuit for executing a signal transmission used for the transfer of data. The aim of the invention is to provide solutions that offer other possibilities and advantages to the user in terms of the execution of a data transfer compared to the previous concepts, and to offer such user and system advantages by largely reverting to circuit concepts known per se and circuit components obtained therefrom. To this end, a circuit device for executing a data transfer is provided with a first interface system for receiving a signal event transmitted on the electromagnetic path in the region of the first interface system, and a signal processing circuit which is coupled to the first interface system and used to generate an output signal sequence based on the received signal event. The invention is characterised by a second interface system for receiving a signal event transmitted on the field-electric (quasistatic) path in the region of the second interface system, the second interface system being functionally integrated into the first interface system. |
