<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device such as a CVC (central vein catheter) to incorporate an arrangement for the purpose of accurately measuring temperature of the blood, a peripheral catheter, or an introducer. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to a device to measure temperature of a temperature medium of a patient. The device is an elongated extrusion access device made into a size so as to be adapted for the inside of the body vessel. The access device body is equipped with an access device body with a proximal end, a distal end, an outer wall, and a hot mass at a predetermined position in the device body between the proximal end and the distal end, a temperature sensor placed at a predetermined position of the device body, and a heat insulation body which is made of a substance different from that of the device body and co-extruded with the device body extended between the temperature sensor and the hot mass. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
