A method and system applied to a touchscreen for newly creating and dismissing a folder. The method for newly creating a folder is : step 1: creating a pre-set input information table, the pre-set input information table comprising pre-set input information and a corresponding acquisition rule (S11); step 2: monitoring whether there is input information within a pre-set region of a main interface (S12); if there is, performing step 3: judging whether the pre-set input information contains the input information or not (S13); if so, performing step 4: acquiring a corresponding file/application according to the input information in the main interface and the corresponding acquisition rule in the pre-set input information table (S14); and step 5: newly creating a folder in the main interface, and putting the acquired file/application into the newly-created folder (S15). Also disclosed is a method for assisting a user in creating a folder quickly and putting files, for which the user has pre-set rules, into the folder quickly, and a method for assisting the user in dismissing applications/files within the folder rapidly. |
