PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid welding power source.SOLUTION: A power source of a device that is used for performing a welding or cutting work includes: an engine component 115 which includes a generator 112 and a rectifier 120 electrically connected to the generator to convert AC current supplied from the generator to DC current, the engine component being switchable between an on-state and an off-state; at least one battery 118, the engine component and the at least one battery being electrically connected to a chopper bus; a controller 200 communicating with the generator, a chopper bus 130, a working chopper 125, and a charge switch; and an auxiliary power converter 400 including at least one of DC-AC and DC-DC converters 404, 403 and electrically connected to the working chopper and the at least one battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
