PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of reducing increase of pressure loss generated when air passes through wind directing horizontal blades in largely deflecting the wind direction. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises a wind direction control device 7 disposed on a supply opening 2 for deflecting and controlling the direction of wind generated by a fan 5 in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction of the supply opening 2, the wind direction control device 7 has a vertical blade 8 for vertically deflecting the wind direction, a pedestal 9 disposed in opposition to the vertical blade 8 and rotated on a pedestal bearing 8a of the vertical blade 8, and horizontal blades 10 disposed vertically to a face of the pedestal 9, and rotated on a horizontal blade bearing 9a of the pedestal 9 to horizontally deflect the wind direction. The horizontal blades 10 are rotated on the horizontal blade bearing 9a, and the pedestal 9 is rotated on the pedestal bearing 8a to project the horizontal blades 10 in the outward direction of the supply opening 2, when the wind direction is horizontally deflected.
