PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting powder coating material which forms a coating film excellent in smoothness and having sufficient coating film strength even when burned at a low temperature, and which has excellent storage properties.SOLUTION: A thermosetting powder coating material includes powder particles, the powder particles comprising: a core portion which contains a thermosetting resin and a thermosetting agent having a blocked isocyanate group; and a resin coating portion which contains a thermosetting resin having a glass transition temperature of 45°C or higher and coats a surface of the core portion. The powder particles also satisfies the following conditions (1) to (4): (1) the volume grain size distribution index GSDv is 1.50 or less; (2) the average circularity is 0.96 or more; (3) the melting temperature measured by a 1/2 method using a flow tester is 90°C or higher and 115°C or lower; and (4) an exothermic peak is within a range of from 80°C to 150°C in a differential scanning calorimetry measurement.SELECTED DRAWING: None
