The adhesive power of a modified, plasticiser-containing polyvinyl-alcohol film to inorganic glasses can be adjusted to a desired Pummel value by adding partially acetylated polyvinyl alcohol resin plasticiser and, before or during conversion to a film, amounts corresponding to the desired Pummel value of silanes which reduce the adhesive power and/or increase the adhesive power. The adjustment of the adhesive power is particularly useful in the production of laminated safety screens on the one hand for the production of windscreens and on the other hand for the construction sector.
