<p>The protective assembly is for covering the exposed parts of an awning, which comprises a roll of material and a drop-rod held with hinged arms, esp. during the winter months or other long periods when it is out of use, but with part of it constantly exposed to storms and other weather effects, if mounted out of doors. The tubular sheath encloses the roll of material, in the rolled-up condition, and the drop-rod, and consists of a length of material which has slide fasteners running lengthways and completely separable. The longitudinal edges of this length of material are pref. equipped with at least two slide fasteners, with two slides each, and separable at both ends. This protection is simple and inexpensive, and easily fitted regardless of a structural conditions.</p> |
