<p>The parent patent described a high temp. resistant perforated fabric for use in dryer belts and comprising a perforated reinformcement made of high temp. resistant warp and weft yarns. the warp being of polyamide and the weft comprising a fibre braided around a glass fibre and/or metal core the reinforcement being coated with high temp. resistant polyamide, polyimide and/or polyamide - polyimide. Org. synthetic resin yarns other than polyamide are now used for the warp yarns, the weft fibre braided around the glass fibr. and/or metal core is not a polyamide and finally the reinforcement is coated with a synthetic resin other than the above-named ones. Belts made with the modified fabric can be used for low temp. applications and are cheaper to produce than the polyamide belts of parent patent.</p> |
