<p>The equipment comprises two or more reservoirs (A, B) connected to the same feed chamber (14) via a multi-way electrically-operated valve controlled by an electronic timer mechanism (9). The chamber communicates via its base with a basin (20) from which the liquid is sucked. Thus chamber and basin are maintained at the same level the chamber inlet being controlled so as to keep this constant, typically by means of float (17) and needle valve (18). The basin can be of square pyramidal section with its apex downwards, supported on the edges of a recess in a circular plate, while the suction cone (25) is immersed in the basin.</p> |
