FIELD: food industry; personal and household care items.SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to device for treatment of food material. Device has housing (2) and cutting tool (5), with possibility of rotation arranged in said housing (2) having cutting edge (35) and rear edge (31). Said cutting tool (5) is made for passage once per one revolution through treatment area (43) in housing, receiving food material, and for passage through reducing area (45). Said reducing area is formed in housing between rear edge, passing from treatment area, and cutting edge, in processing area at rotation of cutting tool, wherein cutting tool can freely rotate in treatment area without contact with food material. Consequently, cutting tool (5) acts on food material at rotation of cutting tool through treatment area and restores rotation speed, lost due to action on food material in processing area at rotation of cutting tool (5) through reduction zone.
