a display panel having a display region for displaying an image; a switch liquid crystal panel arranged so as to be stacked on the display panel; and a control unit that controls the switch liquid crystal panel, wherein the switch liquid crystal panel includes:
a first substrate;a second substrate arranged so as to be opposed to the first substrate;a liquid crystal layer provided between the first substrate and the second substrate;a transparent electrode provided in an active area that is an area overlapping the display region of the display panel, on at least one of the first substrate or the second substrate, wherein a voltage thereof is controlled based on a signal from the control unit; anda metal line provided outside the active area, along four sides of the active area, on at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate.
