A laundry treatment device (1), such as a device for laundry drying, comprises a mesh screen (28) for lint installed in a seat (27), and at least one device (31) for level measurement, designed to measure at least one level of liquid staying in this seat (27). The method for detecting extent of filling the screen of the laundry treatment device with lint includes the following stages: flushing the lint screen (28) with liquid (Kf) in the specified volume of this liquid (Kf); detection of liquid (Kf) reaching at least one specified level (Pg; Pg1, Pg2) in the screen (28) and of extent of screen filling with lint up to the specified value, corresponding to this level. |
