<p>A non-resettable counter mechanism, in partic. an odometer for vehicles, has a drive connecting a drive shaft to the counter mechanism and contg. a worm gear with at least two worm wheels. It is designed to use a simple economical resettable counter as a basis and to be simply and economically adjustable to different gearings. The two work parts are connected so that when one is driven in a first rotation direction the other is also rotated but if the rotation direction is reversed the non-resetting connection (13-26) allows the other part to slip in relation to the driven part.</p> |
