PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block manufacturing method and apparatus which can form uneven parts of various shapes on the bottom surface of a block.SOLUTION: A block manufacturing method includes, in the following order, the steps of: inserting a bottom mold for molding a block bottom surface in a mold; dropping a block material from an upper opening of the mold; molding the block material by pressurizing and vibrating the block material and compacting it; separating the molded block and the bottom mold from each other; drawing the bottom mold from the mold; and removing the block from the mold. As the bottom mold, a bottom mold is used which has a lower surface slidable on a pallet surface and a projection facing any one or more directions on an upper surface. The step of separating the molded block and the bottom mold is a step of moving the mold holding the molded block upward integrally with the block to separate the bottom mold from the block.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
