<p>The right angle bevel gear drive has two shafts (7,8) whose free ends carry the two bevel gears (1,2) which are in mesh with each other. Axial adjustment for the two bevel gears is provided by two spacer rings (12) between the shaft bearing (9,10) and the bevel flange. Where the shaft axes interset each other, the shaft ends are provided with right angle steps (4-6). This produces two perpendicular setting gaps (13,14) which are used to obtain the correct bevel gear spacing.</p> |
