Electrode probe for body implantation - has stop mechanism between fixing coil and guide slot in head with flexible small diameter supply line

The electrode probe is for implantation in a body and includes a feed line with a reduced diameter and high flexibility. It can be fixed in position in a very short period. The supply wire consists of an insulation sheathing containing a loose electrical conductor. The head of the electrode is made with a fixing coil which can be screwed along a guide path. They are rigidly joined to the electrical conductor and the sheathing. There is a stop mechanism (4,5) near the head of the electrode (2). It is located between the fixing coil (8) and the guide path (7). The stop mechanism can be released from the outside of the body when the electrode head is implanted. The screw-in energy is stored in a spring (3) which can be blocked in the stressed condition by the blocking mechanism.
