The invention relates to an anchorage of an impact expanding dowel in a drilled hole having an undercut in the region of the base, the impact expanding dowel consisting of a dowel sleeve which is slotted from the front end over a part of its length and of a bolt with an expanding cone onto which the dowel sleeve can be hit, an encapsulated adhesive compound being arranged on the front part of the impact expanding dowel, which adhesive compound can be moved into the drilled hole with the impact expanding dowel and can be released onto the expanding cone of the bolt, and activated, by hitting the dowel sleeve. In order to simplify the arrangement of the adhesive compound on the impact expanding dowel, the adhesive compound consists of two components, the one preferably liquid component being filled in the capsule which is arranged at the end of the impact expanding dowel and the other solid component being compressed to form a ring with an external diameter equal to or less than the diameter of the dowel sleeve, which ring is arranged on the expanding cone of the bolt.
