The present invention relates to a pelt and skin splitting machine which is equipped with devices for the synchronous adjustment of the machine head and of the pelt and skin feed table. The machine possesses a machine-head unit (20) which is connected to the lower pull and counterpressure unit (40) via a connection which is so designed by means of a pair of eccentric pins (36) that, in the event of a displacement of the machine-head unit (20) relative to the bearing plane on the machine housing (1), the lower pull and counterpressure unit connected to the latter is displaced by the same amount. Furthermore, the adjustment of the deviation (T) between the machine-head unit (20) and the lower pull and counterpressure unit (40) as a result of the eccentricity and amplitude of rotation of the eccentric pins (36) is provided. Moreover, for the position of the skins, the position adjustment of the machine-head unit (20) relative to the lower pull and counterpressure unit (40) by means of the use of screws (34) fixed to a helical gearwheel (33) actuated by a worm (32) is provided.
