PURPOSE:To be able to clean flow paths from each end of a heat exchanger, by fronting an open end of each fluid flow path on each end of a heat exchanger, consisting of a number of stacked and jointed plates, and by fitting a detachable top plate, which serves as the header of flow paths for heat exchanger fluid, to each end of a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:The primary fluid, being fed from an inlet 20, flowing toward the other end 11b from an end 11a of a number of fluid flow paths 11 which are provided to a plate A-10 being opened to a recess part 19, being collected into a header part 10b, is discharged passing through the port 18 of an end plate 16 from a port 12a. In the same manner, the secondary fluid, being fed into a recess part 19 from the inlet port 20 of a top plate 21 provided to the end on the opposite side, flowing toward an end part 14a from another end part 14b of fluid flow path 14 of a plate B-13, and being collected into the header 13b, is discharged passing through the port 17 of an end plate 16 from the port 12. Heat is exchanged in such a manner between two fluids. Since the top plate 21 is detachable, each fluid flow path 11 and 14 can directly be seen from the open part 19, so that inspection and cleaning to the inside of mechanical plates A-10 and B-13 can be performed very easily. |
