The invention relates to a boundary marker or barrier post comprising a cap made of flexible material. The top part or head 7 of the said post comprises a cap 8 made of flexible and absorbent material such as rubber; the said cap 8 is reinforced at the level of its attachment to the head 7 of the said post 1 and of its uprights 2, 4 by metal plates. Each part 10, 12 comprises a metal plate M which is attached by adhesion during the moulding. The invention applies to a boundary marker for delimiting a parking, passage, entry or similar area. <IMAGE>
