AMP fully refined paraffin wax; (C) 21 to 47 weight per cent of a mixture of (1) a Fischer-Tropsch wax or a blend of a high melting point petroleum wax and at least 15 weight per cent of a low molecular weight polyolefin wax, (2) an aliphatic thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin free from polymerized aromatics, prepared from C 5-7 diene and olefin monomers and having a softening point of 155‹ to 240‹ F., (3) a polymer resin derived from alkylation of aromatic compounds with dicyclopentadiene and having a softening point of 40‹ to 105‹ F. and (4) an antioxidant, the weight ratio of (2) to (3) being 1 : 1 to 1À5 : 1; and (D) 50 to 75 weight per cent of a filler. The backing materials may be of jute or synthetic scrim. The filler may be clay, talc, calcium or magnesium silicate, calcium carbonate, wood flour or hydrated alumina.</p> |
