PURPOSE:To prevent deposition on the inner wall of a transfer zone or its stopping or the like, by heating the wall to a specified temperature and passing the composition while keeping it in a liquid state by application of pressure, in transferring a high-temperature polymerizable liquid composition to a subsequent processing step. CONSTITUTION:A polymerizable liquid composition, such as a mixture of a monomer selected from methyl methacrylate, styrene, alpha-methylstyrene, p-methylstyrene, or the like and a rubber-like polymer (e.g., polybutadiene), kept under a condition of temperature of 70-250 deg.C is transferred to a subsequent processing step. At this time, the inside wall of the transfer zone is heated to a temperature which is within the range of 150-290 deg.C and not lower than the temperature of the polymerizable liquid composition. In addition, the polymerizable liquid composition in the transfer zone is kept under a pressure of 1-20atm and is transferred while it is maintained in a liquid state. In this way, the deposition of the polymerizable liquid composition on the inside wall of the zone or stopping or the like of the zone can be prevented.
