PURPOSE:To obtain an ultrasonic wave with a broad band by connecting plural vibrators whose cut width is changed respectively in parallel and using the connection as a block. CONSTITUTION:The cut width of the vibrators having an electrode on both faces in one block and the thickness of T is changed respectively as W1, W2- Wn, resulting that the block is divided into n-set of paper-tablet form vibrators. Since the resonance frequency fr in this case is decided by W/T, the resonance frequency of each vibrator is fr1(W1/T), fr2(W2/T)-frn(Wn/T) so as to obtain a group of vibrators having n-set of resonance frequencies. In connecting the electrodes of the n-set of vibrators in parallel, the resonance frequency fr of one block is a value close to the range of fr1-frn so as to obtain the vibrators having a wide band of resonance frequency. The ultrasonic wave probe with the broad band is attained by arranging m-set of the blocks. |
