The invention relates to the weaving industry. A grindstone (2) for grinding a cutting knife (4) is mounted on a carrier (12) which is connected firmly to the frame (10) of the weaving machine, and a sleeve (18) made of flexible elastomeric material is inserted between the grindstone (2) and the device (14, 16) for fastening the grindstone (2) to the carrier (12). This prevents the grindstone (2) from rebounding from the cutting knife (4), especially on high-speed machines (the single figure of the drawing).
