CONSTITUTION:A sintered body of a ferromagnetic material is manufactured by powder metallurgical processing or other method, and the surface of the sintered body is etched to form a surface layer having a higher porosity than the inside and contg. continuous pores. Synthetic resin is impregnated into the resulting ferromagnetic sintered body having a two-layered structure. The resin impregnated ferromagnetic sintered material has superior vibration damping capacity.
