PURPOSE:To eliminate the inutile use of a tape and economize manhour by successively installing the contact part with a workpiece and a retreat suppressing apparatus midway in the course of pulling-out the tape from a ground-tape roll and taking-up the tape onto a reel and installing a roller-revolution restraining apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A tape is pulled-out from a tape roll 7 on a shaft 8 and applied onto a roller through the pass shown in the figure, and the top edge is engaged with a reel 9, and a main table 2 is advanced and retreated according to the diameter of a workpiece W, and a working table 3 is transferred so that the tape set between contact rollers 14a and 14b is properly pressed onto the workpiece W, and a power source is operated. Though the reel 9 tends to pull and take-up the roll through a retreat suppressing apparatus 15, the tape is put into tension state by the restraint of a ratchet wheel 16 and the sliding members 17 consisting of hooks 17a and 17b, and the workpiece W can be ground. The tape on the apparatus 15 is not loosened. After the work is completed, the workpiece W is replaced to the next, and the reel 9 renews the ground layer of the tape exposed onto the contact part 14. |
